Eastpointe High School’s Publicly Funded Leading Ladies Program for Teens in Tucson
Eastpointe High School’s gender specific program, the Leading Ladies Program, takes a holistic stance to development that recognizes the deep connection between a healthy mind and a healthy body. Through the integration of a health and wellness curriculum addressing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of female adolescents, this completely free and publicly funded program helps our young female students to emerge as leaders of their own lives.
Leading Ladies Program – Designed For Success
The young women in this program will have the ability to pursue their strengths and passions, and to understand their responsibility to the local and global community. Eastpointe High School Leading Ladies Program envisions a world where all young women, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to access the skills, knowledge, and self-determination to succeed in secondary school, college, their communities, and the world.
For the young women enrolled in this program, we are committed to preparing a distinct and diverse generation of learned and motivated women for innovative leadership in our developing global society. Young women in our Leading Ladies Program will be inspired to become informed, engaged global citizens who lead with courage, competence, and empathy.
We will foster their voices and encourage young women to exercise their voice. We do not shelter these students from the real world; to the contrary, the greater sense of respect that girls will feel at our program will enable them to better find and use their voices, first in the classroom, and then beyond in boardrooms, on the political stage, or in any other arena.
